The Great Basin National Heritage Area spans two counties – White Pine County in Nevada and Millard County in Utah. The rugged, remote expanse of this region is off the beaten path, but it offers beautiful scenery, numerous cultural and historical attractions, and an abundance of outdoor recreation opportunities.
The heritage area is managed by the non-profit organization Great Basin Heritage Area Partnership. With the headquarters in Baker, Nevada, at the base of the Great Basin National Park, the office is centrally located within the heritage area.
